Feel free to get in touch with questions about your project!
I’m happy to offer lower mixing rates for fully prepped files or sessions. These are not required, but are some helpful things you can do:
Audio file format:
24 Bit (required)
WAV or AIF file type (required)
48000 or 44100 sample rate preferred
All audio files begin from your DAW’s bar 1 beat 1 or 00:00 (required)
Song BPM included in folder name
Do not Normalize audio files (required)
Export your tracks with any plugins and effects that are vital to their sound
Audio file names are as short and specific possible, with the first word being the instrument and other descriptors following.
Examples: Gtr1 Verse, LeadVox Dub, DrumMachine3 Bridge
Not: MySong_Verse3_Vocal_8_bip, Audio4, Inst1.09
Edits are clean and consolidated.
Examples:
Background noise (if any) between vocal lines is removed, and vocal lines are faded in/out without cutting off performance or breaths.
Beginnings of audio tracks are not clipped off.
Mono files are mono.
If your DAW exports audio files in stereo by default, convert to mono any tracks that are a true mono signal with no stereo effects. Below are some ways to do this:
Soundizers Stereomonoizer is a great tool that quickly checks and converts all of your mono files to mono, and ignores all that are true stereo. This app does cost $50.

Ableton: Select “Convert to Mono” when exporting selected tracks.
